Volume does the heavy lifting across Ashlar Barn’s reception rooms, all spacious and inspiring in scale. The main living area unfolds beneath a dramatic vaulted ceiling, where original beams frame the space and a central fireplace anchors it. Seating is arranged for long, sociable evenings – think fires lit, drinks poured and conversation that carries on.
Glass doors line either side, keeping the countryside in constant view. Wherever you sit, you’re connected to the landscape. Above, a mezzanine level introduces a more relaxed layer – a pool table, quieter corner, space to settle into a paperback.
